This carving is going to be my largest project to date. I won't give away my thoughts of this masterpiece in the making until it is finished. You won't want to miss this.
The legs are attached with steel rods for support.
The long process of beveling out the wood for the wings.
After the first wing is roughed out it is used as a template for the other wing.
Holes are drilled into each wing to attach wooden dowel rods for postioning to the body later.
